AApr 6 (CG) The JVP accused the govt of attempting to deviate from its promises to the people made ahead of the Presidential elections. The JVP also accused the JHU, particularly its General Secretary Champika Ranawaka of being a stumbling block to the attempts to ensure democracy and good Governance. JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva, speaking at the 44th anniversary of the 1971 JVP uprising, said that the govt, including President Sirisena, have been given a mandate by
