Thirty thousand kilograms of expired chocolate seized
Consumer Affairs Authority officials seized a stock of expired chocolate worth of 100 million rupees from a store in Seeduwa today.The stock which weighed over 30 thousand kilograms had been imported from India.
The chocolates were being repacked in order to release to the market under a new expiry date of 2016 at the time of the arrest.
