Feb 14 (Island) Attorney General informed the Supreme Court that the tourist visa of political activist of the Frontline Socialist Party Kumar Guneratnam had expired at the end of January 2015. His current stay in Sri Lanka was illegal. The Deputy Solicitor General, Viraj Dayaratne, appeared for the Attorney General. Counsel Sudath Caldera, who appeared for the petitioner Kumar, told the Court that the Senior Counsel for the petitioner was out of Colombo for personal reasons
