Benedict Cumberbatch's new code-breaking drama The Imitation Game has been given an early Oscars boost after winning a top honour at the Hamptons Film Festival in New York. The film, picked up the Audience Award yesterday just five days after the movie was honoured with the Alfred P. Sloan Award at the beginning of the festival. The project also picked up the People's Choice Award at the Toronto Film Festival in Canada last month.
