The kidnappers of Ambakolawewa girl who was reported missing from her house in Ganewatta from last Tuesday have abandoned her near a trade stall at Neriyawa in Kumbukgate.
Thamara Heshalee Wijekoon was kidnapped while she was sleeping with her brother in their house.
The kidnappers had cut off the polythene that covered the window to enter the house.
6 special police teams together with the CID initiated investigations soon after the incident.
