Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are set to end their six-year marriage, according to reports.The couple, who tied the knot in 2008, have been living separately and according to PageSix.com, the songstress has even taken to hiring security to keep her hubby away from other women.
A source explained: ''He hasn't been staying at their home. He's been living out of hotels. They're fighting a lot.''
Mariah, 44, is said to be suspicious of Nick's dealings with other women and even organised for a security guard to watch him at various pool parties he hosted in Las Vegas earlier this year.
The source added: ''The security guard wasn't there to keep the girls away from him,'' said our source. ''It was to keep him away from the girls.''
It has been widely speculated that Nick, 33, has been staying at his grandparents' house during a trial separation.
Mariah, who gave birth to twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe in 2010, has not been photographed alongside her husband in months, while he also barely features in her recent social media updates.
Mariah has been married once before, to American music executive Tommy Mottola between 1993 and 1998.
